Los Angeles Zoo

The Los Angele Zoo is home to more than 1,200 animals, and an active participant in animal conservation projects, particularly the efforts to save the California Condor. Located in Griffith Park, the zoo's newest exhibits include Chimpanzees of Mahale Mountains and the Red Ape Rain Forest.
