Lake Tahoe Cruise

Wednesday June 22, 2005
Lake Tahoe's surface is 6,227 feet above sea level. The largest alpine lake in North America, it's 22 miles long and 12 miles wide, up to 1,645 feet deep and contains 49 trillion gallons of water, enough to cover the entire state of California 14 inches deep.

The best way to get close to it, if you don't own a boat, is on a Lake Tahoe cruise.
