Omni Los Angeles Hotel

Wednesday May 3, 2006
Ratings organization J. D. Power rated Omni Hotels "highest in guest satisfaction among upscale hotel chains," and once you stay a the Omni Los Angeles, it's easy to understand why. The Los Angeles branch of the Omni Hotel chain boasts top-notch, clean, modern rooms and it's very quiet. Their comfortable beds, with pillow-topped mattresses, nice linens and lots of pillows make for a good nights' sleep, even for this travel writer who usually sleeps poorly away from home.

The Omni Hotel is located in the up-and-coming area of downtown Los Angeles, just a couple of blocks from the Disney Concert Hall and Performing Arts Center.

Omni Los Angeles tried to give me a sofa with a pull out bed despite the fact that I had a prepaid reservation. After 15 minutes of argument, the hotel relented and gave me a king bed. Who needs the aggravation?
