What's new at Universal Studios
Friday June 9, 2006
The folks at Universal Studios are among the busiest in the Los Angeles theme park industry, and this year their classic Studio Tour, which has taken more than 125 million visitors behind the scenes, gets new enhancements, including a special effects rehearsal for The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift and Skull Island set pieces from King Kong. You'll also see more film and television show sets than before, so if you're a fan of The War of the Worlds, Crossing Jordan, or CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, add this stop to your California vacation plans.
Last year, Universal Studios California opened audience participation show "Fear Factor Live," inside roller coaster ride Revenge of the Mummy, Van Helsing Fortress Dracula and Shrek 4-D.
