A rarity in the world of ever theme parks and faster-bigger-taller-scarier rides, Gilroy Gardens (formerly called Bonfante Gardens), located south of San Jose in Gilroy, was created for families. It's one of our favorite places to take younger kids, older family members or yourself for an old-fashioned good time.
