Day Out from San Francisco: Charles Schulz Museum

Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz once said, "Cartooning is still just drawing funny pictures," and his pictures were funny indeed. Everywhere in the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, people giggle, laugh and snort at the cartoons, alternating from cartoon-induced belly laughs to the verge of tears at the thought of his death.

We love the Schulz Museum as much we love his comic strip, but don't be fooled into thinking this is a place to take the kids. It's all about reading here, and especially the younger ones could be quite bored.
