Pick Up Something Special at Disneyland

Friday June 27, 2008
If you're going to Disneyland in 2008, look for employees wearing blue shirts and carrying a black bag. As you may have heard, Disneyland is continuing the "Year of a Million Dreams" program they started last year into 2008, and these folks have the fun job of giving things away.

They distribute special passes and the like according to a very strict procedure to ensure that it's completely random, but I learned a little secret by talking to one of them on my last visit. They also carry a batch of fun buttons that include not only the birthday button you can get from Guest Services, but also ones for honeymooners, first-time visitors and wedding anniversaries. If you ask politely, you may be able to get one. Not only are they a fun souvenir, but you'll find yourself being greeted or congratulated by Disneyland staff all day long.

Hi Betsy. Just came across your blog. I was 60yrs old on Saturday and am treating my family to 4 days in Anaheim at the Anabelle for part of a US trip on 14th March this year.
There will be my two daughters and partners, 3 grandchildren and my husband and I. Great tip you have left on the blog so have printed it out ready for our trip. Many thanks
