Pageant of the Masters

Normally, I'm saying in the spring to get seats for this summer's Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach early, before they sell out. This year, they've still got some seats left before the end of the season, and are even offering two-for-one tickets today (8/25) for tomorrow's performance.

This annual festival features an amazing feat of fool-the-eye realism as real people pose to look exactly like their counterparts in recreations of original art pieces, but don't dismiss it as boring. The eye-popping special effects they achieve with lighting fool the eye so well that even though you just saw a three-dimensional human, you'll swear they've gone completely flat in the blink of an eye.
