Last month, we spent the weekend at Alisal Guest Ranch near Solvang. As many times as I've been to the cute, little Danish-themed tourist town, I never realized that this place was just a short drive out of town. Set in the middle of a gorgeous piece of property, the ranch offers horseback riding and lots of other activities. It's especially popular with families and a great place to take grandma, grandpa and the kids for a little getaway.
