They call it a Victorian Christmas card come to life, and this year it celebrates the 200th birthday of the man who some folks think made Christmas the popular holiday it is today: Charles Dickens. Over five weekends, starting the Friday after Thanksgiving, it's held at the San Francisco Cow Palace.
This year will be the first time we've had a chance to check it out, but what we read sounds like fun: Hundreds of players recreate a twilight evening in Charles Dickens' London Town and there's so much going on that it would be hard to get bored.
