If you're having a bit of party-withdrawal after the holidays - and looking for a way to extend the fun through the rest of winter, you might enjoy the Edwardian Ball. It's held in San Francisco (January 18-19) and Los Angeles (February 23). The event is its creators' own special version of Edwardian times that mixes art, music, theatre, fashion, technology, circus, and the creations of author Edward Gorey.
We're going for the first time this year and will post a review after that. In the meantime, if you're as intrigued as we were, but want to see more about it, check this video at YouTube. You can get your advance tickets at the Edwardian Ball website. They sometimes sell out, so this is a good time to be decisive and reserve right away.
