It may seem like the Rose Parade just happened (and more or less it did), but grandstand tickets for next year's event are already on sale at Sharp Seating and the best seats will go fast. If you want to park your RV near the parade route, you'd better get busy making reservations before they're all filled up, too.
One of San Diego's biggest conventions of the year is Comic-Con, which will be held July 17-21, 2013. If you're a fan, it's best to plan far ahead. Last year, we found them sold out in February and with so many people attending, hotels fill up fast (and get expensive). If you don't want to attend, it's best to plan your San Diego vacation at another time.

The popular exhibit Royal Treasures from the Louvre at San Francisco's Palace of the Legion of Honor ends March 17. Down at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Caravaggio exhibit ends March 10. Timed entry tickets are required and they both will start getting really crowded during the last couple of weeks.
