In a remote location here, a California Condor chick, the first wild California Condor hatched in Arizona in decades is doing well, the Peregrine Fund recently announced. Named Condor 305, it's now 20 weeks old, and expected fledge in the next month or so. When it takes flight, it will join 41 captive-born condors now gracing the Arizona skies. |
