Frank Gehry House
In one of his earlier designs from 1986, Gehry is playing with traditional elements, pulling them apart. The room atop the pole echoes the lifeguard stations on the nearby beach. Although the address is 12451 Beatrice Street, it's just a short distance from the Venice Beach Pier and best viewed from the waterfront walkway.
