Monterey County Nude Beaches
This beach was part of decommissioned Fort Ord, and is slated to become a state beach.

| Driving | Just south of Castroville on CA 1 Exit at Reservation Road and turn east off exit ramp (away from the water) Turn right onto Reservation Road Follow Reservation and make a right turn onto Lake, near the radio towers and just past the Comfort Inn Lake curves immediately to the left, be careful not to stray into the dead end street straight ahead Follow Lake for approximately 1/2 mile through a residential neighborhood, following signs for the Animal Shelter and passing Marina del Mar Elementary School |
| Parking | Parking beside the road and in a small parking area |
| Walking | Take the steep path up the hill Sand dunes tend to encroach on the walkway, but keep going straight up Stop at the top to catch your breath and enjoy the view Follow the trail to the beach At the beach turn left and walk about a half mile south to the nude area |

Laws regarding nudity at the naturist beach vary by location and fines are stiff in some places. I have made every effort to provide accurate information, but the responsibility for knowing the law at Marina State Beach is yours.
Nude or naturist beach neophytes, please be respectful of others and read the Nude Beach and Topless Beach Etiquette guidelines before you go to a nude beach and check the nudity laws too.
