Completed in the 1930s, Mammoth Hot Springs offers hotel rooms and cabins with and without private baths. An unusual feature at Mammoth Hot Springs is the Map Room, which contains a historical United States map made from wood gathered from nine countries.

• Xanterra Parks and Resorts operates all Yellowstone hotels as a National Park Service concessioner.

• None of the Yellowstone hotels has television in the rooms.

• Not all rooms have telephones, but pay phones are always available.
