The natural beauty at Panther Beach and Hole in the Wall Beach is without equal.

Hole in the Wall is accessible only at low tide from the south side of Panther Beach and is separated from it by a wall of rocks with (guess what!) a hole in it. Take care not to get stranded.

Location: Santa Cruz County.North of Santa Cruz
Description:
  • Rock towers, natural bridges, a wall of rocks, caves
  • About 100 yards long and 70 yards wide
  • Nice sand
Who's There: A few people, about half nude
Facilities: None
Activities: Sunbathing. Swimming not advised because of riptides.
Getting There: Map and Driving Directions

The parking area is not visible from the road, and break-ins are common. On our last update visit, we found lots of shattered car-window glass all around the parking area. Leave anything valuable at home.

Panther Beach Rating: See what others think.

Laws regarding nudity at the naturist beach vary by location and fines are stiff in some places. I have made every effort to provide accurate information, but the responsibility for knowing the law at these beaches is yours.

Nude or naturist beach neophytes, please be respectful of others and read the Nude Beach and Topless Beach Etiquette guidelines before you go to a nude beach and check the nudity laws too.
