I find the idea of being on the edge of the continent appealing and Lands End Beach has spectacular views. At my last visit, there was a lot of big driftwood on the beach and big rocks. There was no sand to be seen at high tide. For a more comfortable (but less private) beach experience, try nearby Baker Beach instead.

Can be cold and windy
Who's at Lands End Beach: Up to 30 visitors a day, mostly gay men

Laws regarding nudity at the naturist beach vary by location and fines are stiff in some places. I have made every effort to provide accurate information, but the responsibility for knowing the law at Lands End Beach is yours.

Nude or naturist beach neophytes, please be respectful of others and read the Nude Beach and Topless Beach Etiquette guidelines before you go to a nude beach and check the nudity laws too.
