Denver Museum of Nature and Science

The Museum of Nature and Science offers permanent and special science-oriented exhibits from around the world, an IMAX Theatre and a planetarium. Colorado-specific exhibits include a large example of the state mineral, rhodochrosite, a red mineral some say looks like red gelatin, and display of Colorado wildlife.

Colorado residents get free admission on selected days.
