Colorado Railroad Museum

Housed in a replica of an 1880s-style railroad depot, the Colorado Railroad Museum is one of the best privately-supported railroad museums in the United States. Exhibits include a restored round house, more than 70 narrow and standard gauge locomotives, cabooses and other railroad cars.

The Colorado Railroad Museum is the largest collection of photographs, artifacts and documents related to the state's 125-year railroad history.

Exit I-70 at exit 265 westbound or exit 266 eastbound, and follow 44th Street west to the museum. The museum is 12 miles west of Denver and 2 miles east of Golden.
