Magic Mountain Visitor Guide
Magic Mountain Tickets

Magic Mountain Tickets and Cost Control

Magic Mountain offers 1-day passes and annual passes, but no multi-day discounts. Children 48 inches at shorter qualify for a discounted ticket. Babies under 2 years old get in free. Parking costs extra.

Hurricane Harbor, the water park next door to Six Flags Magic Mountain requires a separate admission.

You may be able to reduce your bill at Six Flags Magic Mountain by using some of these discounts:

  • Buy your tickets online ahead of time from SixFlags.com. Not only will you save almost one-fourth of the price at the gate, but you can print them at home and skip the ticket line when you arrive.

  • Sometimes Los Angeles area grocery stores such as Ralph's offer discount coupons for Six Flags Magic Mountain, as do Burger King and MacDonald's. AAA members also get a discount, which is larger on Wednesdays.

  • Six Flags employees can buy tickets at a discount. If you know someone who works there, ask.

  • If you are a member of a union or other organization or work for a large company, inquire about discount passes.

  • If you're visiting Hurricane Harbor too, buy a combo ticket.
Food inside the park is expensive, and you'll have to take your car out of the parking lot to get to most of the area restaurants. If you bring a picnic lunch, you won't be allowed to take it inside the park, but there is a picnic area outside.
