Practicalities

Newport Beach is located in southern Orange County, south of the John Wayne/Orange County Airport. You can reach the Balboa Peninsula, Balboa Island and the Newport Beach Harbor by driving south from Interstate 405 and the airport on CA55.

Newport Beach is pleasant year around, but June can be foggy, sometimes for most of the day. Even in summer, nights will be quite cool near the water.
