- Old Faithful Geyser: Erupts about every 90 minutes.
- Old Faithful Inn: Check placard in the hotel lobby for tour times.
- Upper Geyser Basin: You can find almost a dozen more geysers within a mile walk in the Old Faithful area of Yellowstone.
- Visitor Center: The National Park Visitor Center features exhibits about geyser eruptions, and shows the film A Symphony of Fire and Water.
- Drive North to Midway Geyser Basin: Six miles north, Midway is one of my favorite spots here, with brilliant-colored pools and water pouring into the Firehole River.
- Drive North to Firehole Canyon: Fifteen miles north, just south of Madison, this short drive leads through the canyon, and passes a popular swimming hole.
