Slide Rocks State Park Review
Slide Rocks State Park is best-known as a cool place to enjoy the water in summer, on the natural water slide created where Oak Creek flows over a slick rock formation. However, it's also a fine example of agricultural development in central Arizona.Besides the famous Slide Rocks, there is a swimming area in the adjacent National Forest. If you visit in summer, bring a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and shoes to protect your feet from the rocks. In the winter, bring your camera to capture ice on the rocks and a pair of binoculars to enjoy the birds.
