Malibu Coast Drive
Spend a few hours or a whole day exploring Malibu's Coast Highway and its backroads, from Santa Monica to Ventura.
Santa Monica
Home to a seaside amusement park, nice beach and good shopping.
Marina Del Rey
Surrounding the largest small-boat harbor on the west coast, with nice waterfront restaurants and lots of opportunities for water recreation.
Venice Beach
Venice Beach is a place where you'll find artists, palm readers and bikini-clad rollerskaters mixing with chanting Hare Krishnas and belly dancers.
Manhattan Beach
The most upscale of the South Bay's beach cities, Manhattan Beach boasts a scenic pier that houses a small marine museum, good restaurants and lots of shopping. A waterfront walk here takes you past beach volleyball players and multi-million-dollar homes.
Hermosa Beach
With a scenic pier, a pedestrian-only zone and a scenic beachfront walk, Hermosa Beach retains a 60s Beach Boy feel.
Redondo Beach
Redondo Beach is home to a large shopping and dining pier complex that attracts shoppers, fishermen and tourists. Also home to the "Redondo Riviera," an upscale shopping area with a beach ambience.
