Held at the end of Thanksgiving weekend (fourth Thursday of November), the Hollywood Christmas Parade is equal parts hometown Christmas parade and star-studded fun. You can watch for free anywhere along the route, or rest your legs and reserve a grandstand seat.

Pros and Cons

The parade is fun, free and it's an easy way to see some celebrities. On the downside, it's not as glammed up as you might expect, you'll have to deal with the inevitable crowds and of course, it's only held once a year.
