Universal Citywalk

Universal Citywalk is a shopping, dining and entertainment complex next to Universal Studios, home to more than a dozen restaurants, over two dozen retail shops and an 18-screen movie theater. Located outside the theme park's gates, it's accessible to anyone without buying a ticket.

Built like a narrow, city street with lots of colorful signs hanging above, this place vibrates with neon energy in the evening and at night. Besides the plentiful restaurants and entertainment, you'll find a few fun shops to rummage around in.

Universal CityWalk Entertainment

Universal CityWalk hosts free outdoor concerts in summer.

The Gibson Amphitheatre (previously called the Universal Amphitheatre) is also located at Universal CityWalk. In this small venue, every seat is 150 feet or less from the stage and it draws performers as diverse as the Dalai Lama, Engelbert Humperdinck and Nine Inch Nails.

Universal CityWalk Tips

  • When you pay to park at Universal CityWalk, you'll get $10 off a movie ticket.
