Tickets and Reservations for a Los Angeles Trip

Instead of running around to a bunch of websites to get all the tickets and reservations you need for your Los Angeles trip, you can get to them all from right here.

Airline Tickets

If you're flying in, you can use Kayak.com to compare the prices of all the airlines at once. To be sure you've checked all the options, you'll have to check rates at Southwest Airlines separately or see what kind of deals Southwest offers on air and hotel packages.

There are five commercial airports in the Los Angeles area: Los Angeles International (LAX), John Wayne/Orange County (SNA), Long Beach (LGB), Burbank (BUR), and Ontario (ONT).

Go Card Los Angeles

Go Card offers discounted admissions to a lot of places. If you're visiting enough of them, it can save you a lot of money. Do your arithmetic before you buy to be sure it's right for you.

Southern California CityPass

If you're going to visit more than one Southern California attraction, the Citypass may save you money. It includes the most popular attractions in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego and can save up to 30% if you're going to all of them. You can buy the passes online in advance, or at the gate of any of the participating attractions, but buying in advance will keep you out of ticket lines.

Tours and Sightseeing

Viator.com is a one-stop shop for a wide range of bus tours, walking tours and other activities you may enjoy. They also sell tickets and Front of the Line Passes for Universal Studios

Magic Mountain Tickets

Avoid the lines at the gate and buy your tickets ahead of time.

The Best Los Angeles Map

You can get a lot of good resources for your Los Angeles online, but a map isn't one of them. We think the Borch Los Angeles map is the best of the bunch, with clear graphics and a plastic coating so it won't tear and you can write on it if you need to.
