This fanciful creation was designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000) using a few simple principles: no straight lines, roofs planted with grass and trees, every building capped with a golden turret to elevate man’s sense of himself and color is king. Some say it looks like a like a psychedelic fun house or something from a Dr. Seuss book, but we think it's a playful relief from all the stuffy buildings and wineries that take themselves far too seriously.
