If that were all the Elk Cove Inn had to offer, it would be a very nice place to stay. When you add their on-site restaurant and spa, it becomes the kind of place you could settle into for a relaxing weekend, never leaving the area from the time you arrive until you reluctantly head for home. The small, but clean and comfortable on-premises spa provides massage services, including couples' massage, and their massage therapists are as good as any I've encountered even in some of the state's most expensive properties. ZEBO Restaurant (named for the gazebo it overlooks) offers innovative evening meals made from fresh local ingredients and a small but excellent wine list.
Between meals, you can walk down to the beach, follow the cliffside walk into the nearby town or just relax and listen to the waves. Every room at the inn has access to the same amenities, but prices vary widely between simple rooms in the historic house and the luxury suites in the adjacent building.
