Where to Eat in Morro Bay, Cambria, Cayucos and San Simeon

Cambria: Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill
From their heated patio overlooking the scenic Moonstone Beach, you can watch the waves while enjoying a salad or sandwich for lunch, a dinner entree or Sunday brunch.
Cambria: Robin's
A Cambria favorite for over 20 years, Robin's serves an eclectic menu in a lovely old house surrounded by even prettier gardens.
Cambria: Sow's Ear
Winner of many awards for cuisine and service, the Sow's Ear offers a new twist on old favorites like chicken and dumplings or pot pie.
Cayucos: Cass House
Located in a beautifully-restored Victorian-style house, the Cass House serves afternoon tea.
Cayucos: Duckie's Chowder House
With a nice location right next to the pier, Duckie's serves clam chowder, fish tacos and sandwiches in an informal atmosphere.
Cayucos: Hoppe's Bistro
Zagat-rated 26 out of 30 for cuisine, with a garden that has been featured in Sunset magazine, Hoppe's is my favorite restaurant in the Hearst Castle area. They serve over 50 wines by the glass, and as difficult as it may be, try to save room for one of their outstanding desserts.
Morro Bay: Bayside Cafe
A casual cafe at the marina in Morro Bay State Park, the Bayside serves generous portions of fresh seafood and other local foods, and it has a nice view, too.
Morro Bay: Chablis Cruises
The Chablis serves an excellent Sunday brunch and Friday dinners in the summer, and you can't beat the views from the windows and upper deck.
Morro Bay: Giovanni's Fish Market and Galley
Their takeout window is a great place to get a quick, inexpensive meal, and their outdoor seating overlooks the bay. If you find a long line outside, use this insider's tip: the lines inside at the counter are much shorter.
Morro Bay: Kitty's Kitchen
Kitty's doesn't have a website, but that doesn't keep it from being a local favorite. Just head uphill away from the touristy area to 890 Main Street for some of the best breakfasts in town. Their phone is 805-772-3677. The link above takes you to map.
Morro Bay: Windows on the Water
Views from every table make for a romantic setting to enjoy a menu that changes with the seasons.
Ragged Point Inn
On a beautiful point, with plenty of windows, Ragged Point's restaurant is said to be as good as its location.
