The Bottom Line
Sonoma Mission Inn centers around a 1920s hotel built in Spanish mission style and located on the site of a natural hot spring. It's a good place to settle in for a relaxed getaway and also a good base for touring the surrounding Sonoma Valley.
We enjoyed our stay in a Mission suite and liked the hotel's ambiance and comfort. It's one of the most expensive hotels around the town of Sonoma, but also has a lot to offer, including guest activities, a spring-fed swimming pool and spa.

Guide Review - Sonoma Mission Inn
It may help you to know more about the Inn: The main building was constructed in the 1920s. Two other phases added Wine Country rooms and in the newest section, Mission and Wine Country suites. Fairmont maintains all of them well, preserving historic style while providing modern amenities. The style is consistently mission, with textured walls, lots of natural wood and neutral colors.
It's been a long time since we stayed the Sonoma Mission Inn. For a more current evaluation, see their reviews at Tripadvisor.
