Primitive campsites for backpackers are the only Santa Cruz camping facilities at this park, located in the mountains on Highway 35, 2 1/2 miles southeast of the junction with Highway 9, too far from town to be a feasible base for visiting it. However, it's in a pretty spot and great if all you want to do is hike and camp.
