The Manresa Uplands Campground has 64 walk-in tent sites

Primary Needs:

Restrooms and pay showers

Amenities:

You can park in the lower lot for long enough to unload your things, but you have to move your car to the upper lot for the rest of your stay. If you're used to running back to your car for things, plan to be sure you can get it all unloaded at the same time.

Firewood is available for sale.

Recreation:

You can catch starry flounder, California halibut, surf perch, striped bass and surf smelt on the beach, but you need a fishing license.

Surroundings:

The campsites are in the open, with no trees to give shade.

Furry Friends:

Dogs are allowed in the campground and on the beach (but not on nearby Sunset State Beach)

Getting to Manresa State Beach: The park is 16 miles south of Santa Cruz off Highway One. Take the San Andreas Road exit.
