General Information About Tuolumne Meadows Campground

Tuolumne Meadows Campground is on Tioga Road (Hwy 120).

• Open: July through September
• Capacity: 304 sites, Maximum of 6 people per campsite. 7 group campsites (13 to 30 people) and 4 horse sites, 6 people and 6 horses per horse site.
• Elevation:8,600 feet (2,600 meters)

No RV hookups. Maximum RV and trailer length is 35 feet, 27 feet trailers max for horse sites.

• 8 restrooms with flush toilets
• Showers at Tuolumne Meadows lodge mid-day (shut down in 2008 due to water issues)
• Water taps (bring a container to carry it to your site)
• Dump station nearby

Every campsite has:

• Picnic table
• Fire ring
• Bear-proof locker

Furry Friends

Dogs are allowed in Tuolumne Meadows Campground (except in group and horse campsites), but they should be kept on a leash and owners, please pick up your pooch's poo.
