General Information About Yosemite Creek Campground

Yosemite Creek Campground is on Tioga Road (Hwy 120) half way between Crane Flat and Tuolumne Meadows. It's the most secluded, automobile-accessible campground - at the end of at 4.5-mile, unpaved, sometimes-bumpy road.

  • Open: July through September
  • Capacity: 40 sites, maximum 6 people per campsite
  • Elevation: 7,700 feet (2,300 meters)
RVs and trailers not recommended.

Amenities

  • Vault toilets only
  • No potable water (bring a container to carry water from stream to your site, and treat water by boiling, filtering or using iodine)
  • Showers in Yosemite Valley at Curry Village and Housekeeping Camp
  • Grocery store about 30 minutes away at Crane Flat or Tuolumne Meadows
Every campsite has:
  • Picnic table
  • Fire ring
  • Bear-proof locker

Furry Friends

Dogs are allowed in Yosemite Creek Campground, but they should be kept on a leash and owners, please pick up your pooch's poo.
