Tours:
Open daily, with escorted guided tours in summer, self-guided tours the rest of the year, and visitors must be at least 42 inches tall to climb the stairs. Downstairs rooms contain small exhibits.
Facilities:
Flush toilets in the parking lot, tide pools at the bottom of the cliff
Getting to Yaquina Head Lighthouse:
Exit US 101 onto Lighthouse Drive approximately 1/2 mile south of the Newport city limit sign and follow the signs to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. There is an admission charge to get into the park here.
Vital Statistics:

    Height: 93 feet (Oregon's tallest lighthouse)
    Elevation: 162 feet
    Lens: The Yaquina (pronounced Yah-KWIN-uh) Head Lighthouse's original, first-order, fixed Fresnel lens is still in use. The original oil burning wicks have been replaced with a 1000-watt bulb.
    Signature: 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off, 2 seconds on, 14 seconds off
Yaquina Head Lighthouse History:
Built 1873, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse was deactivated in 1966.
