Olympic Training Centers in the West

If you can't make it to the next world Olympics, you still have plenty of opportunities to watch America's Olympic athletes in action. The West is home to three of the country's Olympic training centers, where you can watch future Olympians train and compete.

Olympic Training Centers in the West

Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs, CO: Free daily public tours include a 12-minute film and a 45-minute walking tour. Purchases at the Olympic Spirit Store go to support America's Olympic athletes.

Arco Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista, CA: Located just south of San Diego, this complex trains 4,000 athletes per year, supporting their efforts to excel in Olympic archery, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, soccer, softball, field hockey, tennis, track and field, and cycling. Free guided tours daily.Purchases at the Olympic Spirit Store go to support America's Olympic athletes.

Home Depot Center, Carson, CA: This complex features state-of-the-art stadiums and facilities for soccer, tennis, track & field, cycling, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball and other sports. It is also an official Olympic training center. No tours are offered here, but you can attend the many sporting events and competitions it hosts.
