Much of the time Marilyn Monroe spent in San Francisco was during her relationship with Joe DiMaggio, a San Francisco native. Although some misinformed local tour guides will try to tell you the couple were married at Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach, the ceremony in fact took place at City Hall.
