- Use a Fastpass to shorten your time in line, or try getting in line during the parades or evening shows. Child swap and Single Rider lines are also available. On our last visit, we saved 25 minutes by using the Single Rider line instead of the standby line. Single riders enter through the FastPass entrance.
Advice About Soarin' Over California
- Soarin' is so realistic that it might make you a little nauseous as you dip and soar. Close your eyes if you need to.
- Most people are fine with the flying sensation, but it might be disturbing to those who have a strong fear of heights
- The best place to sit is in the front row. If you end up being directed to one of the other rows, just tell the cast member you want to sit in front. You'll have to wait a little longer, but it's worth it.
Fun Facts About Soarin' Over California
- The gliders move 45 feet into the air into the middle of an Omnimax screen that surrounds your line of sight. The gliders move the same way as the camera did.
- Smells are piped in to add to the realism, but don't worry if you're allergic to perfume. They're all natural scents.
- There are two hidden Mickeys in the show. One is easy to find, but the other's more hidden. Take a close look at the golf ball as it flies by.
Accessibility
If you're in a wheelchair or ECV, you will have to transfer from your wheelchair into the ride vehicle. Enter with everyone else and ask a cast member for help at the loading area. Service animals are not allowed. Ask a cast member for information about guest-activated captioning.
