About Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Set in an abandoned Hollywood luxury hotel, this dark ride features 13-story drops in a (supposedly) rickety "freight elevator."
Tower of Terror is a mostly dark, freefall-type ride. Guests enter the
Hollywood Hotel lobby, watch a video that tells about a lightning strike that sent the
elevator into the Twilight Zone some years ago and board the ill-fated
conveyance.
The Tower of Terror then plunges 13 stories in starts and jerks. Your seat will
leave the ride's seat as you hurtle downward, stopping to peer out through holes
in the side of the building.
