About World of Color
This water and light show which debuted in 2010 features 1,200 fountains and a 19,000-square-foot water screen. Projected on the screen are scenes from all our favorite Disney and Pixar films. The fountains dance, fires flare and more than 100,000 images flash by.

- The Best Way: Having viewed World of Color twice from the general viewing area before trying this option, we can personally recommend this as THE BEST way to see World of Color, with access to a far superior viewing area. Call 714-781-3463 for reservations at the Wine Country Trattoria or Ariel's Grotto up to 60 days in advance. You'll eat in the restaurant and then get a pass to the best possible viewing area to watch World of Color from.
- Picnic: Buy a picnic meal that includes food and a viewing pass. Buy online or at kiosks in the park.
- FASTPASS: They're available when California Adventure opens, at Grizzly River Run. Until the newness wears off, you're best off to arrive before California Adventure opens and get in line, especially if you want tickets to the earliest show. We hear that folks are showing up as much as 90 minutes ahead for this. Everyone in your party must be present when you go in because your tickets must be scanned at the entrance before a FASTPASS can be issued.
- Walk Up: The easiest way to see World of Color. You'll see something as along as you can see the water, but of if you work harder, you'll get a better view.
- From Your Hotel Room: If you're staying in a room on the east side of the Paradise Pier Hotel, you can see World of Color from your room.

Fun Facts About World of Color
Disney used the movements of real dancers to help design the fountains' movements.
Song writer Richard Sherman wrote the musical theme. He also wrote songs for Mary Poppins and many other Disney musicals.
The show takes its name from Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color television show, which first aired in 1961.
