El Capitan Theater
6838 Hollywood Blvd
Past Highland Avenue at 6838 Hollywood Boulevard is the El Capitan Theatre (built in 1928) and the Disney Soda Fountain next door. Both are owned by Disney, and the theatre shows first runs of their newest films, making it a great place to take the kids. It has a lovely, restored box office and interior.
Keep following the stars to La Brea, cross Hollywood Boulevard and turn back east toward Highland Avenue. You've saved some of the Boulevard's best attractions for last.
