Melrose Avenue Shop
Travel east from the Design Center on Melrose. The shopping area of Melrose Avenue extends from Highland to La Cienega (about 2 miles), but the most interesting part is between La Brea and Genessee.

The most commonly-sold product is clothing, but you'll also find some nice furnishing and home decor shops near the Pacific Design Center. Melrose is more like London's Brick Lane or San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury than Fifth Avenue, with shops bearing names like Xplosion and Planet Funk selling everything from Agent Provocateur (sexy undies) to Kidrobot. The best option for parking is at meters along Melrose and part way down side streets
