Pacific Science Center
The Pacific Science Center's exhibits range from animatronic dinosaurs to the physiology of addiction, and there are plenty of interactive displays and demonstrations to keep you and the kids busy and interested. In summer, you'll even find a butterfly house. One-upping most other science museums around the country, they've got two IMAX theaters, one showing traditional IMAX films and the other special 3-D IMAX presentations.Getting to Pacific Science Center

Seattle Center is bounded by First Avenue North, Fifth Avenue, Denny Way and Mercer Streets. The Pacific Science Center is located on Denny Way, but the entrance is inside the Seattle Center complex, near the Space Needle. To get there from downtown, you can take the Seattle Center Monorail, or walk north on Third, Fourth or Fifth Avenues. From the waterfront, you can take the trolley to its north end, then walk up Broad Street.
If you're driving, exit I-5 at the Seattle Center exit and follow the signs. You'll find parking lots on the Fifth Avenue side.
